Outdoor Learning Space Consultation

Let us partner together to plan an outdoor learning space that works for you. Whether it be one planter bed or 20, we can make a working garden for your students to enjoy! During this 1-hour consultation we will discuss your goals, vision, and any unique needs to get you started.

Boots on the Ground

This package includes an in-person sit-down and walkthrough at your school to assess the space and develop a tailored garden plan. You’ll also receive 12 months of curriculum and content to kickstart your school garden, ensuring it’s both educational and engaging for students.

The Whole Shebang

You’ll receive the full curriculum development, community outreach materials, extra garden activity ideas, and 3 additional in-person site visits over the course of the year. We’ll help you connect with local partners, create a sustainable garden, and provide continued support as the program grows.

Who we are.

Christy Calderon and Shelley Joyer, both Master Gardeners and fulltime moms, are on a mission to plant the seeds of learning—one school garden at a time. Christy, a dental hygienist with a knack for design, and Shelley, a retired EdTech sales pro with a green thumb, are combining their love for gardening and education to create outdoor spaces that inspire students. And don’t worry—there’s plenty of laughing and adventure along the way, because who says gardening can’t be fun?

With years of experience getting our hands dirty and a commitment to building trusting relationships with both students and educators, we strive to be your go-to choice for creating an outdoor learning space your students and community will love.
